One more mile to Jericho
G
Nothing is ever what it seems
D A
When you live inside you're dreams

[Chorus]

The walls will tumble
G
The walls will tumble
Bm A
But I'm not gonna cry
D
My heart won't crumble
G
My heart won't crumble
Bm A G
If we ever say goodbye

[Verse]
G D
Everybody gets the joke
Bm
Where's the fire?

Where's the smoke?
G D
Money, love and jealousy
Bm A
Something's got a hold on me
G
But I will follow where you go
D A
One more mile to Jericho

[Chorus]
D
The walls will tumble
G
The walls will tumble
Bm A
But I'm not gonna cry
D
My heart won't crumble
G
My heart won't crumble
Bm A G
If we ever say goodbye

[Brigde]
Bm
Goodbye now
G
Goodbye
Bm
One more mile
One more kiss
G
One more word
One more wish

And love will save us
This I know
A
From this place called Jericho

[Chorus]
D
The walls will tumble
G
The walls will tumble
Bm A
But I'm not gonna cry
D
My heart won't crumble
G
My heart won't crumble
Bm A
If we ever say goodbye

D
The walls will tumble
G
The walls will tumble
Bm A
But I'm not gonna cry
D
My heart won't crumble
G
My heart won't crumble
Bm A
If we ever say goodbye

The walls will tumble
The walls will tumble
If we ever say goodbye

My heart won't crumble
My heart won't crumble
If we ever say goodbye

The walls will tumble
The walls will tumble
If we ever say goodbye

My heart won't crumble
My heart won't crumble
G
If we ever say... goodbye

Goodbye...
Goodbye...

jericho was like a city that people stomped around to let it tumble, and she`s comparing this to the possibility of her breaking up with her boyfriend. she`s saying that she won`t fall down like jericho.

It isn't about boys ! You can interpert it as a relationship song, but it's also about the movie raise your voice when her brother dies, and Jericho is a city where Joshua was chosen to lead the Israelites into the land of Cannan, to help them take the land, Jehovah God caused miracles to happen. He made the Jordan River stop flowing, and the walls of JERICHO to fall down, and the sun to stand still for a whole day. 1

Jericho was/is a town near the Jordan river in Israel/Palestine. It was the first city that the Jews passed when entering the promised land. God commanded them to sack the town and not occupy. This is where "the walls will crumble..." etc. comes from. I could be wrong, but "money, love and jealousy" were the 'sins' committed by the Jericho-ans, and that was why God commanded the Jews to sack the town. I think the "one more mile..." part is all about finally being at the end of a journey (40 years wandering) and the trust involved, "I will follow where you go". I'm not Jewish, or a religious person, but I started reading the bible, just because I had nothing to do, and when I heard the song, the references were all crystal clear to me. I think the song is all about this bible reference, modified to link to a modern day relationship in 'tough times' that are about to end, just like in the book of Exodus or whatever it is.
