| Okay, so yeah, I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the world's biggest fan of Hilary, that's beside the point. When I first heard this song, my immediate reaction was "dang, sad teenage love...jealousy is a bummer..." but that just didn't seem right. So, I finally looked up the lyrics. Reading over them, and then youtube-ing the song, I have to agree with some of the previous posts in here- Maybe it's not about jealousy. At least, not jealousy of a physical third party. Maybe it's about being in that state where technically, you're where you wanted to be- You have everything you thought you wanted, you should be happy. Everything's going so right...but you just don't feel complete, and it's maddening and saddening all at once. Who is this other side of me, that gets to be so happy with you and my life? Why is the me inside not really feeling it? I wish I could. ...but that's just what I think. | |

| Well, I've wrote a small songfic a long while ago with this song and I think it had something to do with a girl watching the guy she's crazy about (who is her friend) with another. 1st part: Yeah, they were best-friends or something like that. 2nd: He obviously found another girl. She sings "That has stolen my world" because that girl has everything she wanted. 3rd: When she sings "She's everywhere I wanna be", that could mean something like his arms, his mind, his heart... Dunno, that's my pov. 5th: Talks about moments they had together... Sorry if it sux! | |

| Well, I heard somewhere (i don't remember if it was in an interview bout the writer of this song or something else) that the song is about the duality of oneself. So i think it's more psychological, there's that girl and she's hanging out with that boy, but she doesn't recognize herself, she's changing, she's not like usual, and it's frightening her... | |

| The song is called Who's That Girl not Who's The Girl. The song is just STUPID! She goes, "living my liyayayayayayayayayayafe. That part is just insanely hilarious. I let a huge Hilary fan listen to it and they started making fun of her. It reminds me of when Avril says, "this tiyayayayame" in Don't Tell Me. Hilary ruined it. | |

| What really annoys me is people bagging artists because of their musical talent and the songs they put out there. First of all, EVERYONE has a different approach to singing great. Maybe hilary sings different to Stacie Orrico or Delta Goodrem or someone. I would like to see the people who are dissing her to hit notes as high as hers, or sing in front of hundreds of thousands of people see what they can do. Secondly, half of the songs artists release are not even written by them! Songwriters and producers and people like that write songs that they think are appropriate for the artist! So there is no point dissing a song by an artist before you get your facts right and know 100% that the artist actually wrote the song themselves. Now I am only 13, but I think that you can post your opinion of the song but not the artist itself. If you want to post something about the artist them visit a different forum! These are designed for what the SONG means to you, not your trashy opinion of that the artist can go die and stuff like that. Saying that an artist can go die is the most terrible thing. Think about it, would you like it if someone that didnt like you came up to you and said you can go die just for producing music and being famous. Its absolutely wrong ! This song is a good song that is a definete obvious song about a relationship. Thankyou. x | |

| yes this song is supposed to be `who's that girl?` she is jealous of this guy who dumped her for another girl..yet when she said `I'm not sorry I'm not her` she doesn`t care..but then she goes on singing about how she is still jealous so she`s trying to get over it and blaming the guy for taking that whore but she really can`t. she doesn`t want him to have that other girl because she made him go through a rollercoaster of emotions..happy&sad&mad&etc. she can`t believe that the other girl could be `the one` for him..and that only she should be..all in all, hilary is jealous. | |

| Actually, contrary to what most people think, 'Who's That Girl' wasn't really written to be comprehended as a song about a boy who has agirlfriend but likes another girl etc The song is actually more to do with Hilary and how people percieve her. The song was written specifically for Hilary and how fans see her as the 'sweet little innocent star' but behind closed doors she is another person. Sort of like a split personality. I read that when Hilary first heard the demo for the song, she cried because she felt the song was so personal to her. | |

| haha @ broken_inside. But I admit, I like it. Many artists used the yiyiyiyi's in their songs, not just Avril. I think Alanis Morissette has done quite a few of those. All in all, it's a cool song. Well done Hilary. | |
