| OK.. This is comment number 2 (my totall) =] Well this song In Joy and Sorrow is beautiful. Just like all of HIM's songs. But this song means that even through the good and bad the thick and thin our love will endure. In joy and sorrow we will always love one another an dnothing can rip us apart. "My home is in your arms" By the way, isn't "hope" supposed to be "home" or am I wrong. Well the song still means the same thing no matter what the correct word is... Also the song In Joy and Sorrow is a perfect definition for the album itself. Which is, Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights. | |

| Alright. Well, I know that HIM claim not to be a Satanic band, yadda yadda... I have some theories about that which probably don't need to be brought up here. Anyway, having said that, this song seems to be not about some random lover singing to some chick, but about SATAN singing, in the form of a lover, to someone who has lost her faith in God. She lives a life of corruption and sin, or whatever, and thus the Devil's home is in her arms. | |
