| It's poetry carved in flesh This beautiful hell of ours To the deadly sin we confess (Tears of joy filled our eyes) We are safe when this venus hates my out there prophecies of doom My hearts a graveyard baby and to evil we make love on our passions killing floor in my arms you won't sleep safely and of lust we are reborn on our passions killing floor at the first kiss the seeds of hatred are sewn back into darkness we flee (to tear our hearts out) we are safe where all fates fail the life inside of our tomb My hearts a graveyard baby and to evil we make love on our passions killing floor in my arms you won't sleep safely and of lust we are reborn on our passions killing floor This is what I'm hearing when I listen to the song. | |

| This song is pretty sweet, love the new sound of the band. I can't make a proper review of the song yet, because I only just heard, so I don't really know the lyrics. Lol. ^^; I think that maybe instead of "the seas of hatred are sewn" it should be "the seeds of hatred are sewn" Neat stuff!! I've pre-ordered at my local music supplier! | |

| Alright man i know this is waaay off the subject, but when is this band gonna get recognized for their cover songs! These bands take songs that I sometimes HATE and make me fall in love with them....my personal favorite is The Ramones "Poison Heart". The Ramones made that song to make people get up and jump to..HIM puts their touch on it and suddenly the lyrics seem to come alive and make you understand truly what the songs meaning is. That's why their covers are soo good! Valo doesn't create songs to make you jump around to..he makes emotions come through his music. | |

| I totally agree with Dreamdisease, you definately sound like a dedicated fan. I've been listening to HIM since 2000 and you can definately see the change in Valo's voice over the years. I also agree that this song sound as someone tasting forbidden fruit without having any regrets. Valo said the new album is going to be more harder then anything they've done in the past so i'm excited to see what the new sounds gonna be! Personally I think HIM fans have NOTHING to worry about because honestly whens the last time this band put out an album you didnt ewnd of falling in love with?? | |

| If you want to interpret the song in a kind of tounge in cheek sort of way, it could be about a floor where you kill passion, i.e. get laid. I doubt that auctually has anything to do with it, but thats what I thought when I first heard the name. | |

| i love how HIM changes a bit with every album they come out with. with most bands, it would kill them, but they can manage it, and still keep their fans. i love HIM and i've loved them since i was in 6th grade, which was four years ago. i can't wait for the new album, i'm pre-ordering it now. =D 1 2 Next | |

| I like this song...with every new album a band produces peeople either like it or they don't. Regardless of that, bands go through growth in their music...HIM by the sounds of this song are still the same yet you can tell there's growth in there too if you've been a dedicated listener from the start. Ville's voice has gone less husky or raspy I've noticed..there 's a smooth melody..when getting to the bridge there's that dark gothic undertone...is that him? hmm... Can't wait for the album to come out....! =D Hmm..I think this song is anythign but about pure love for sure...I think it's about love betwen two people thats sinful or forbidden and based more upon lust and attraction rather than feelings...reminds me of people cheating.... or by listening to the chorus it could be about a person whose warning their lover not to except anything good from them...their relationship together will only bring them danger and no security. | |

| Hey, this isn't even the first single from the CD and I'm already horny for it, lol. You can get the sheet music for the first single (kiss of dawn) and if you're eighteen or older (which I unfortunatly am not) you can record yourself performing it on guitar or piano and enter it to be considered for the DVD released with Venus Doom. Top three contestants get on the DVD. | |

| This song, makes me think of a man and a woman (obviously) who are in love but scared of it, and the man is over powering her "in my arms you wont sleep safely" He definatly seems like he is captivating her in an evil light as well as a good one. "forever my love... thats right" Liek he is telling her her fate, | |

| Love the band's sound. Ville's lyrics just get better and better with every album. Although from what I hear, there's only like 5 seconds of the song played in the Transformers movie so that kinda sucks. But it's still good to hear them in an American film. Anyone know of a place to hear more bits of the new album? Lol. | |
