When you said, "It doesn't mean that she asked for it literally, it means that she should have known better" that's exactly what asking for it means! You just contradicted yourself, you fucking dumbass. It's a sarcastic song. It's about how society always places the blame partly on women. And yes, this was written about Courtney's physical assault at the Underworld, London in 1992. As for the dumbfuck who said, "You don't go into a mosh pit, wearing a dress," you're an asshole. | How disgusting that a man (Courtney had a sex change, there is viable proof) claimed to be married to this icon, after they (the COG cult) murdered him in 1990. Geffen (and his boyfriend Pitt, who was snogging Love too) helped "it" steal Cobain's songs and record them with her group. It is a mockery of talent and goodness. Courtney Love, your life is in ruins and soon you will be dead. As will everyone involved in the sacrafice of Kurt Cobain. | |

| i think this song is about a relationship with a man and women. the man cheated on the woman and she feels cheap everytime she now sleeps with him coz she has 2 2 make the relationship work otherwise he will go back to his hore. she loves him so much after all his done she cant let go and she wont leave him. but she has all this anger inside of her thats why she's thinkin did was she asking for it or did you just give it 2 her. | |

| i like jennifercostello's idea. the way i've always thot of it is that the guy shes in a relationship with, who she really loves or whatever is sleeping with someone else. was the other girl asking for it, was she begging him to have sex with her, or was it his idea? and "everytime i sell myself to you i feel a little bit cheaper than i need to" is like saying, she doesnt want to sleep with him him and she knows she shouldnt but she cant help it shes so in love with him, in the moment she'll do anything for him, but probably regrets it later. 1 2 Next | |
