| Hmm...this song can be written about so many things. It could be how she feels her band sold out. It could be about how she misses Kurt ("he tastes like candy, he's so beautiful. He's so deep, like dirty water. God, he's awful"). It could be about her bad relationship with her father because she talks about being sixteen and she mentions "where's your daddy." It could be about how people accuse her of killing Kurt, which "break"s her. I don't know which it is, but I think it has to do with one, a few, or all of those. | |

| this strikes me as bitter. telling the new blood in the music industry (the "sweet cherry"s) to make it awful, and to do whatever they want because they'll ruin it in the end. then mocking the innocence of these newcomers with the second verse, which sounds like the way they party and do drugs and have sex when they get into stardom. | |

| Um I haven't read all this, but I don't think it's got to have something to do with the music industry...I think it's about youth in general (as said somewhere above)...yeah, and those lines "he's drunk, he tastes like candy..." and so on could be about Kurt. I think they really loved each other...I don't know why, but I just really really think they had a very deep connection. I think that's why she was (and probably still is) so hurt when he died, and that's why she calls him "awful" or "asshole" and those things. She never really got over him dying so early. I think. | |
