| Actually, this song IS about religion. I've heard it's about Doug's father, but then I've heard it's about a man he saw on the streets. Either way, it's a song about someone trying to force their religious beliefs on you. | |

| THis is my favorite hooba song .its deeper in meaning than most, and I can TOTALLY relate to this, how religion expects you to fall into the mold without question, but what if you want to make your own? This is exactly what i feel. i only figured out what this song was talking about after hearing it many, many times (i had no lyrics then) but when i did i was blown away and listened to it over and over going WOW WOW, OH WOW I KNOW JUST HOW YA FEEL, DOUGIE!!! | |

| This song can mean whatever you think it means...so I'm not putting you down for your interpretation. I hate to preach, but don't tarnish the image of Hoobastank. No matter what Doug's views on organized religion are...the truth (I read it on their website or an affiliated sebsite) is that it's about his father. Get it? I understand how he feels and I understand how you'd mistake it. | |

| this is such a great song. hoobastank's music from before they were famous is so great, and its too bad it took them a spot on TRL to get noticed, cuz i hate TRL with a passion. this song just fits exactly how i feel about organized religion sometimes, esp. after i found all this security, and then realized i had just become a follower with everyone else. amazing, amazing song. they're beyond amazing in concert too :-) | |
