	I think this song is great, and it's a shame it didn't get as far as "The Reason" because in my opinion it's a better song. I agree with what TotalAnilation and InsomniacUK said. That's exactly what I thought it's about. Well said!

	To be honest, I don't think it is only about religion. Sure, religion does play a part in it, but it is not only that to me. "Whenever I step outside, somebody claims to see the light It seems to me that all of us have lost our patience. 'Cause everyone thinks they're right, and nobody thinks that there just might Be more than one road to our final destination." One could easly interpentent this as a rant vs. religion, but I doubt it is only that. I think it also goes vs. sciencetist and all other people who claimed to have an ultimate solution or explanation about life and morals. "But I'm not ever going to know if I'm right or wrong 'Cause we're all going in the same direction And I'm not sure which way to go Because all along We've been going in the same direction" If you read well enough between the lines, you can find a part of Nihilism here. There is no universal truth in the world. There is no ultimate good or evil for people. Everyone thinks their view is right, which is correct for them. For example many westerns think death penalty is something horrible, while in other area's of the world is seems perfectly fitting for a rapist. So we all go in thesame direction, namely which we think is good for ourselves. "I'm tired of playing games, of looking for someone else to blame For all the holes in answers that are clearly showing For something to fill the space, was all of the time I spent a waste? 'Cause so many choices point the same way I was going" He refers here towards people who blame others for thinking different then them. The time we spend arguing and convincing others of our right will be a wasted one. Someone believes what they believe and it is nearly impossible of changing that. The last line is a prelude for the end of the song, which is that if you look good enough, that there is many times much common ground in everyone's opinions. Just don't try to convince anyone, but learn from them. "So why does there only have to be one correct philosophy? I don't want to go and follow you just to end up like one of them." This is the most clear suggestion that he refers that there is no universal truth in the world. The first line he says that he doubt there is one truth in the world and in the second he says he doesn't want to be convinced and left alone with his views. "And why are you always telling me what you want me to believe? I'd like to think that I can go my own way and meet you in the end." The last part refers again he doesn't want to be convinced of others views. He does like to know about other people views though: "I'd like to think that I can go my own way and meet you in the end."" Maybe people can find some common ground in all of their views and opinions and be happy with that. :)

	everybodys doing the same thing. you try to do something different but everybody says its wrong, so you dont noe if u r doing the right thing or not.....love this song! their new cd is awsome!
