| This is my intepretation of the song.. He has a heavy calling on his life to see souls saved and lives changed. But it all becomes so difficult that he feels "nothing was the easiest existence". Basically it's saying that he wanted to see the world change so badly, but their closed hearts sucked the joy right out of him. So he leaves the world behind in flames. I finally feels alive when he's dead. i.e. with God and away from all the bullcrap | |
