| Probably the greatest Irish rock song of all, the riff is indeed O'Neill's March (or Cavalry or Cavalcade as it is also known). It's part of a concept album based on the Tain Bo Cuailgne and describes the boastfulness common among Irish warriors of the time, as well as some of the incidents referred to in The Tain. For example, "like the hawk, I'll swoop...." lines refer to CuChulainn's poractice of picking off the invading Connacht armies one at a time.
