Dirty Mouth - Hot Hot Heat

Tabbed by: Daniel Nalepa

Im the first person that ive seen in any tab site that writes down the strumming pattern.
I like to see how to strum the song instead of figuring it out myself, so I took the
liberty of writting down the strumming patterns for you. You can thank me later. So this
is my first song so e-mail with comments and please rate it. And dont go easy on me cuz
its my first time!

Alright, this interpretation is a little weird, but bear with me: Generally, I think the guy is the "other man" in an affair, and he wishes the woman would end it with her boyfriend/husband. "Wash your dirty mouth" to me means he can almost taste the other man's kisses when he kisses her himself. The lines from "Wake up Cinnamon..." to "... quarter to four" I believe show them having to always go to secret locations (e.g. hotels) to have their affair. The "small town girls and boys" line could refer to him having to keep the relationship a secret from his friends as well, out of fear rumors may spread and the relationship may be discovered. "But acting tough is rough, enough is enough - I feel like hell" is pretty self-explanatory, that he has to hide his emotions from everyone despite his anguish "Tied up in London" could portray her husband (most likely) as wealthy, but the "two handed tug" and "pieces of a phone" could suggest fighting or abuse within the relationship she has with her husband. "I gotta say I cannot wait" is just reiterating that he wants her to finally end it with the husband. "End this awful holiday" seems to be irony, classifying this affair as awful instead of enjoyable. He wants to be the only man in her life, not the other man. Thank you.

I think he is kissing her goodbye, he knows he's not goona see her anymore. And while kissing her, he can almost feel this bitter taste of departure.
