| Definitely about a jealous, controlling girl. Perhaps he's saying "You're are my only girl, but you're not my owner" he's telling her to lay off, then he's saying "Talk to me, dance with me...You're the spotlight, girl" basically meaning that she is the only one he's interested in and that he still wants to have fun. | |

I think it has to do with manipulation in the sence that shes devised a plan to get him she keeps track of everything while he pays it no mind or thinks not to much of it.
