This song means a slightly different meaning to me. I have the fortunate experience to find 3 friends that are more than family. All the fucked up shit we've done together. All the hard times and the good time. This song is my promise to them. I will always be watching over them even from he beyond.

I really dig this song..I'm not really able to reflect on it personally but it's definitely about losing a good friend.

Actually it is about one of Jon's friend and not Matt's. Jon Schaffer is the guitarist (and writes most of the songs, music and lyrics) and Matt Barlow does vocals.

Every time I hear this song, the haunting line, "Why did he have to die?" echoes deep in my heart. But I hear it more as, "Why did I have to live?" I am constantly questioning why I had to survive cancer, when so many others have not. Am I selfish for feeling this way? 1
