	got to agree with dreadnaught.. it is a cool bridge in the song. but i also love it how the song starts and the drum that comes bashing in en a after few sec a little extra hits on some sort of thing does the trick :D for the meaning i think its about that he always will be what he is.. and stay and believe in his own things he does not want beautifull heaven but will make the best out of it how where he lives or goes he is wondering what we are even doing here but in the bridge he somehow hopes to return

	I think this song is about the whole process of life and how he feels locked up in his own thoughts and realizes that he cant relate to anything at all.

	I think part of this song, especially the beginning, has to do with something that you believe in, but nobody else believes in or believes you about it. So he is choosing the suffering of going against the majority and following what he believes is right, even if he gets nothing but pain from it.

	I think this song is about staying with your beliefs no matter how much hatred and pain you suffer, even willing to accept death or anything just to stay with them and live by them. Near the end it sounds like the singer is adding in that he does NOT want people to try to understand him regardless of what happens because they will never be able to understand. Overall, this one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Its strangely comforting, yet invigorating...

He will always belong to the shadow, and that's the way he wants it, because that's when he is himself.
