* This note with the asterisk is actually played one whole octave
lower, which would make it a fret 2 on a seventh string tuned down
to F, however playing it the way shown is still the right note (A)
just one octave higher. What I really think they do though is use
an octave-pedal or pitchshifter or something, and play the fret
shown, but bring it down the octave using the pedal. Hmm. It also
happens to be the only note in the song that is so low.

| Not to nit pick or anything but i thought the lyrics were: I run this world alone A song stuck in my mind Are you feeling alright? Don't mind if you ask me once Discover me like emptiness A defense for a broken heart Still offers a smile to the world betrayed... [pre chorus] Always close to the drop Disapear with yesterday Cure this dream that makes me fall [chorus] Blame me... Escape me... As you walked away Tie me... For my sake To the dream that haunts you Could never stand the middle Want to go far and further But something drags me down Shapes me... Forms me... Into dillusion [pre chorus] [chorus] As I bank other options Make this picture distant Signing off Leave me alone I blur you into the never... etc etc | |

| It sounds like if anyone died, it was the boyfriend. -- "Could never stand the middle." "Want to go far and further But something drags me down." "Always close to the drop." "Cure this dream that makes me fall." "As you walked away Tie me... For my sake To the dream that haunts you." "Signing off Leave me alone I blur you into the never..." | |

| this song is awesome..some of the best drumwork ive ever heard vocals and lyrics are amazing to me the lyrics seem like someone broke up with you, you miss them alot and want them back, then they want to come back, but you are having second thoughts, and turn on them, cause they are the ones who walked away | |

| To me the first part of the song is talking about somone close to him "stealing" a loved female figure, yet he still acts kind to both of the parties involved even though he is no longer needed always close to the ground disappear with yesterday cure the dream that makes far He knows he should speak up forhimself, and tell them that what they did was wron, but he can never speak his mind and feels he is getting kicked around could never stand the middle I want to go far further but something drags me down shapes me, forms me into the ocean He tries hard to be an assertive person, but he allways fails "somthing drags me down" as I bank other options make this picture distant sign it off, leave me alone I blur you into the never He atempts to get over the girl, trying to find somone who wont hurt him, and on the surface he does, but the chorus represents that he will allways be affected by the memories, and that deep down he allways miss what once was | |

| I see this song about the girlfriend having died? *always close to the ground * The chorus pretty much sums it up. And the endinf *as i bank other options etc..* makes it even clearer, since his girlfriend is dead, her's got no other option but to forget her, take distance, blures her into never. Any other ideas? | |

| If im not way off, i read in an article about a miscarriage that the singer (anders friden) and his girlfriend (wife whatever) had, and After readin that arcticle all of this song just made sence to me. I don't think I ever read such an emotional article/interview as that one, it was printed in a swedish metal/music magazine. 1 | |
