	This is how I interpretted the song: In the midst of hitting rock bottom, everything in life just fell apart. Amongst the rubble there's a glimpse of hope. That hope was the motivator in rebuilding for a good future. Leaving the past behind and not dwelling on the bad things; only looking forward. No regrets.

	jeez...this has got to be my favorite in flames song...amazing. I love how hthe beginning is slow and emo-ish and then goes freakin crazy. Well done

	I Also think it is about the past and moving on, but think it is also about drugs. I think its about adiction, and even after one quits a flame can still rise up out of the ashes. Hes saying adiction never fully goes away...

	I'm selling heavenly sketches A world out of my mind Ready to explode in purity To fill the wholes inside //Here, he is thinking of a special place. Picturing it in his mind. Yet he knows it so not his world nor where he belongs. However, he is ready to take the next step in being different to patch his missing self that has been lost. An ever moving stream With glowing rays of light Emotions tied to past lies And I know I should let go //Here, he has described his life as a moving stream that always moves forward. In his life are shines of light that depict a sense of hope in his life. //However, his emotions are tied to lies that have hurt him in the past and whenever he thinks about her and how much he loved her. (Assuming it's a her) He is reminded of these lies and how much it has hurt him and knows it is time to move on. Tamed with confidence of a brighter future I found a flame in the burnt out ashes... burn out, burn out //He has his confidence in hope in the future under control but in his hope there is a flame of love or lust in his past life that he just wants to burn out. A glimpse of my safe home A path to hide all anger //This makes me think he is near a campfire. Aswell as the imagery used with the flame. Anyways as midday approaches in the camp. He gets reminded of a place where he thinks his safe. This is a way he bottles up his angar. In circles I catch A torch carried by the immortal From depths that I created In vain echoes fade //His transformation is complete. He feels he is unstopable from the new life he had created and the pain that he has experienced is slowly disappearing.

	in flames lyrics tend to be vague. i think the past thing being talked about (relationship, way of life, drugs, etc...) is up to you to determine...but the point of the song is that the singer has found a new way of doing things/new relationship/new life/whatever...a better way that he wants to keep, but he finds the old ways coming back, but he wants that flame to burn out in the ashes, and wanted the new shored to be fueled and burning...his dark past should lie cold

	One of my favorite songs. I think it's pretty much about Anders past bothering him, and he finally learned to let it go. Anyway, I've heard a few songs off of Come Clarity already, and IT'S GOOD!!

	also one of the reasons i love in flames lyrics..they follow a main point, but it can be changed to however you see it...making everyone relate to them. there arent many bands out there with better lyrics than in flames tjr through come clarity

	i think its about ending a relationship and starting over, he sees the flame in the burnt our ashes...maybe sees the same mistakes happening again, or sees his old ways and wants it to go away with burn out, burn out. but the verse iwth another dawn collapses, he has failed or is back to his old ways again and maybe the safe home is the quiet place?
