The sign of times my friend" I believe that Anders means that by "collecting stars" he's talking about holding onto something that means something special to you, and that you should start today before it's too late.

	The song's main point is that life is all about unpredictable changes, and we as people, are not always ready for those changes, depending on who or what they affect. We may go on and question these changes and why they are happening (just exactly like how the lyrics in this song are portrayed). The chorus of the song goes on to say it is best that we try moving on and progressing for our own benefit by "collecting stars" (could be a metaphor for 'oppurtunities' or something else postivie), no matter how drastic the change(s) are. Hence, 'Trigger' happens to be a very clever name for this song since a 'trigger' can be defined as 'a device that activates or causes something to happen' (such as a change of sorts)...

	I just picked up the Trigger EP and I was blown away when I first heard this song. Trigger is probably one of the best In Flames songs I've heard, and I own Soundtrack to Your Escape, Colony, and The Tokyo Showdown to boot. This is a typical In Flames song lyric-wise, just Anders going on about trying to live life and, like others have said, does it in his Buddhist-ripoff fashion. It's still a good song, though.
