| Personal opinion: He was always dreaming of perfect things...you know, the true love, true friends you will have forever...and whatnot. Always waiting for that because he believed it will come. But by "rushing through 30" he realized that life will never be that perfect. That you will maybe never find that. So he wants someone to get him to somewhere. It doesn't matter where, just to be no longer alone. The line "don't want to live in a dream one more day" speaks for itsel in that interpretation I think. Very beautiful, sad song. I love it. | |
