	i agree with SDMFBLS that its probably a close friend that was a girl. I think when they met, she was already with somebody, thats why he wishes he was the 1st she had met. Savvy pretty much nails all the rest. The confusing part about this song is what he means by "evil in a closet", and the only thing i could get is, that he's supposed to be her close friend, yet he's hoping (maybe even trying) to break her up with her bf(husband?) so that he can have her. So even though he appears to be her friend on the outside, he's secretly "evil" any feedback?

	I agree that its about a woman the person loves but cant "get". In my opinion its one of the most beautiful songs ever and sometimes it can make my eyes a bit wet, which usually is very, very rare.

	actually i change my mind. i think that's it's about two very close friends (the narrator being one of them) and the narrator loves her, and thinks she does so back to him, but just found out that she has a different boyfriend. wouldn't that suck? but anyway, i agree with the metaphors everyone else said pretty much. i just think that that's the main idea, instead of a breakup

	first, incredible song. ok, so i think this song is about the despair of wanting to be with a friend ("one in words ..finished my sentences...") that is with someone else ("..the first you meet."), the pain & frustration of not knowing how to handle it (".need an option and some hope.."). -I coud be very wrong but again it's an incredible song regardless

	"the answer to my puzzle" is actually in the cd booklet but i don't hear it either. To me, this song is about breaking up with someone or having an outs with someone. It's a very well put together song filled with emotions. I love it!

	a couple of people already said what i think (erka being one) thisa song is great though. it's really one of inflames' most mellow songs, instrumentally, and all, but it dosen't lose it's heaviness because of that. i also agree that pop fans would like it.

	once,he had a friend,a someone who undand him from half of word,a someone who knew him well.. (We were one in words You finished my sentences ) this is the reason,why he feels that way rite now.. ( The answer to my puzzle ) he is a lost soul..dark inside,he lost all hope,and was giving up... (I can never attract tomorrow It pushes me aside I sink in waters deep ) but that another person,a frined,was always a little fairy creature,who helped him,who always was giving a little hope,who dont let him to give up (Your presence kept me floating Far from depths where secrets lie ) but probably that someone,belong to another person,but he dont try to fight for her,he is just hope,that some day they willl be together (Maybe in another lifetime I could be the first you meet ) once,long ago he was a guy full of hope,and he could smile,he felt beauty in everything (I once read a poem Held my breath ) but something happened in his life,his soul was broked,and first time in life he felt a real pain,coz he couldnt have it.. (But that moment's gone First time I felt life somewhat hurts ) he lost a hope,fell shattered and lost,he need someone to break it all.. (Need an option and some hope ) he asks,that person not to leave him,to be near,asks to yell at him,to give him some streight,he wanna make her feel something towards him (Yell at me, i want to be your light that shines ) but still he is broked,and he is afraid,that he can make a mistake and break everything into pieces and maybe hurt that person (But my ground's shaking and I might fall ) so he never told about his feelings,he just keeping them inside,a big and heavy secret..but sweet one,even he is suffering so much.. (I wish that I could say... ) he feels a big pain,coz he understand that he dont deserve to be with her..soo..all he ever wishes...is to be once a part of her,to be a shadow or wotever... ( I wish I could be your evil in a closet ) that someone,even if not his real friend,but even a thing,a thing that she is somewhere near,makes him feel better..its an addiction,a passionative love..but at the same time a shy love,a real love,coz he couldnt ever to hurt her,thats why never tells about his feelings,and keeps em inside..even it brings a lot of paint into his heart...

	He wishes this person would somehow secretly let him back into their life, he realizes they should not/cannot and views himself as 'evil.' We've all heard the expression 'in the closet' before, its just a dire secret. I assume it is a woman he is referring to; she can keep him hidden away metaphorically speaking, and even this small amount of contact is beyond his expectation. He just labels himself as 'evil.' This refers directly back to the mention that he could only have contact with her in another lifetime.
