| This is what I love about Incubus. Their lyrics can be interpretted to mean different things. I always viewed this song as a guy who was in a relationship being cheated on, and eventually had enough and was getting out, while at the same time letting everyone else know that she was a 'criminal' and not to date her. But I also see how this could relate to a narcissist who isn't going anywhere in life because they are too rapped up in them self. 1 | |

| This song will always remind me of a gil who was one of my best friends... she sotle my gi=uy, the mole. Anyway, she was really really beautiful but it turned out that this really selfish part of her that made her think it was ok to go around stealing other ppl's guys... and because of this she kept losing friend after friend. "You are beautiful but you're not going anywhere". She just kept lying to me and lying to me and i kept forgiving her "I swear i've heard this song before, a swimmer who has seen a shark i really should be more wary of the water." Anyway this chick was the best actress. Me and my friends thought she was great for ages. She had everyone convinced. And then she lied and hurt every single on of us... "You came, you saw you conquered everyone". And all the lies i'd always discover the truth and then she'd say 'i didn't think you'd care". Did you think i wouldn't notice? Did you really think i wouldn't care? And i know that she's now gone on and has started fooling a new group of people BEWARE! CRIMINAL!!!! Also, I would just like to note that the lyrics "you crawl in bed, it's 3 AM" don't necessarily mean that the person is crawling into the singer's bed.
