I love singing this song when im really pissed off, anyways yeah i think its just about how your attitude affects how you take things, int eh beginning he had a really crappy day but he explains it again and he figured out that what really made the day crappy was his pessimistic attitude

it spells "calogne" with the 'g' and the 'o' switched, but that only proves how dumb i am for noticing something like that.

This song is great. It makes you wonder what you would do if all this really happened to you. Everytime I hear this song, it makes me think of only the bad things that have happened to me in the past year or so. I believe this song is talking about controlling the situation. If you control what's going on around you, you shouldn't have any trouble.

I love this song. I found the hidden track because I fell asleep with the CD playing and woke up to the most bizarre assortment of music and sounds...tada! What I want to know is what is up with the autopsy report. You know, after the reaming out Gavin bit, at the beginning of the actual hidden track, there's a guy reading off the details of a car crash victim...it sounds like it was pretty damn gnarly, too.

FYI - the hidden track at the end of S.C.I.E.N.C.E. actually has a title: "Jose loves Kate Moss Part 1". Oh, and regarding that bit right after the song; it's not Brandon who goes off on Gavin, it was one of the producer's assistants, Brandon only asks: "Did he erase it?" then you hear him laugh, and once the music starts he says: “Gavin you &*$%ed up so bad”.

Actually Harry, I think I got a totally different meaning from this song. You said that it says "we shouldn't be victims of bad things that happen to us". Well i think it's saying the opposite, that we are to blame and maybe if he had cared more and tried to not be so pesimistic than things mighta went his way, at least maybe a little more towards his. Maybe I am wrong but I find all of incubus' song wonderfully meaningful wheather i relate or not, all except the instrumentals that is (no lyrics, no meaning to me, or at least until i learn to play an instrament). Oh and don't get me wrong dj kilmore and all the others are bad ass when it comes to jaming, but Brandon has a poetic phenomena with words. Wow that's long.

This song is like a story of Brandon's worst day. It says that how we shouldn't be victims of bad things that happen to us

the very ending (written above) when brandon freaks out about the track kind of has an alternate meaning, i think. he sings this song about not letting bad things get to him, and to be more positive, and then he rips gavin's head off about an honest mistake. i found it kind of interesting, and i think there was a reason they put that at the end.
