i think what he means by "my biggest fear will be the rescue of me", and "your biggest fear will be the rescue of you". i'm just thinking that when people find themselves, some people do a 180. and they change. sometimes that happens in relationships.and maybe the two of them will just have to end it. 'strange how it turns out that way' but for now, he just want her to show him something infinitely interesting while he has her, something he can remember her by.

This song is absolutely great. You guys are groovy to think its wondeful. This is how love songs should be, not all mushy and making promises one cannot keep (i.e. "i'll make all your problems go away, i'll save you from everything"). Yeah, the lines "my biggest fear will be the rescue of me" and "your biggest fear will be the rescue of you" ...i know you all have said what you think but I feel its like... the rescue, something to take them away from each other, to take them away from everything they are together. Thats what I thought. Great song!

You guys hit the nail right on the head, great song indeed. The part that you didn't explain was the "infinitely interesting" line, which is just stating that this person would like to find a love that keeps him/her interested forever. In other words, an everlasting love. Great song, best on the album for sure.
