| I'm intrigued by the phrase: "Between two, a small discrepancy, one complicates and one simplifies." It's a classic Incubus quote with ambiguous meaning. Though this song seems to be about Dirk, how would this apply to them? That sentence would be interesting in the context of the male-female dynamic...don't you think? I'm still trying to wrap my head around it...do girls complicate relationships and guys over-simplify them? I guess thats the beauty of Brandon's lyrics, the ambiguity leads us to reflection. 1 2 Next | |

| bens actually a pretty good bassist. if you seen them play live with ben, watch his hands move. dont judge him on the songs he plays cuz for all you know he could be better than dirk but chooses a simpler style because it better suits the music he likes to play. | |

| This song is about ignorance..plain and simple. Brandon is obviously giving someone, whether it be a girl or not, some sort of signs that he digs her, and she's completley ignorant to it. This song is so close to home w/ me. Women, lol j/k ;) Awsome song, but then again - you wouldn't expect less from Brandon and the boys would you? | |

| This song is about someone just like some of my friends. I like how it is harsh, but sympathetic on the person it describes, because, even though they are kinda immature and live in a bit of a fantasy world, ya gotta love 'em. | |

| i think this song just shows how stupid some people are when it comes to being open... a lot of people just dont understand that there is a lot more of everything outside from what they beileve and they cant accept that and allow for differences... i saw them play this is concert, i gotta say... it FUCKING ROCKED | |
