It's actually "just enough to hurt my dad". He probably smelled from smoking marijuana. One of the probable reasons for smoking marijuana was to anger his dad. Perhaps the divorce of his parents had something to do with him wanting to anger his dad. Maybe not. Oh, and I believe it is "Come Thursday mornin', I smelled the pits, but hey, they aint that bad..." These are some of the more difficult lyrics to decipher. :)

"i could have sworn i bathed last week and scrubbed like a good lad" This is what I hear. This song is just fun to me, but to get into meanings, I wonder if he is seeking the buddhist "middle path".

I could've sworn a ??? last week and scrubbed like ???. i think i have some of the blanks filled ??? and I smell the pits but hey it aint that bad i could have sworn i bathed last week and scrubbed like a good lad i have no idea if the first sentence is right, but im pretty certain about the 2nd one

I like this song. It shows someones feelings about food haha and it too can substitute for other things.I like to stink just a little bit, just to keep you on your toes yes. The more I stink the more I think, that you smell like a rose. that pretty much sums it up:)
