| Just because Bush is in the video doesn't mean the song has to be about him. | |

| There have been dozens of articles in papers, websites and magazines that say this song is a bout some dude named El Guapo. Hes some Mexican president or dictator or something. | |

| On K-rock 92.3 in NY, the DJ said that Incubus said that the song was not about Bush.. but i think they were just saying so because after all this time everyoone's been saying so and maybe they just didn't want people saying Incubus was anti-Bush or something. I still think it's a great song. a little played out. I guess the 'song' isn't about the pres. but maybe the 'video' is. btw. thank god songmeanings is back. | |

| A megalomaniac is one who craves power and becomes obsessed with it...and if he gets it, he becomes a tyrant. Basically, it's referring to the majority of modern leaders; Bush, Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Saddam...any bad leader or one who thinks himself better and wiser than others. It's also very reminiscent of Bush taking the lead in his "war on terror"...I think it's mostly about Brandon telling Bush to just step down before he makes more of a mess than it already is (such as the whole prisoner abuse and decapitated civilians debacle...) | |

| I know the video has many references comparing a vague Bush lookalike to Hitler at the podium. Not to mention a reference to what Floria or whatever her name is of pro GW Americans being redneck-trailer-trash-fatasses drinking oil as if we are addicted to it. A hateful, anti-American and stereotypical (the American pig) image. | |
