The Warmth (Acoustic) - Incubus
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: AlexOlson
Email: AlexOlson_Incubus@lycos.com
Tuning: Standard
In the song, Mike Einziger has a really nice acoustic guitar so if you don’t have
a nice one, it might not sound quite like the acoustic in the song. He also uses
a thin, felt pick. It’ll sound more authentic if you use one. Also, this song
sounds really cool if you play it along with the non-acoustic version of the song song.

| This song is an awesoemt estiment to the power of humanity, and personal thought. Everyone who lets society bring them down and control their lives should read this song and put it on repeat. Everyone is more powerful than we are made to think, and this song tesitifes to that very thought. | |

| What is "The Warmth"? Is it the warmth of another human being or the warmth of humanity? The great thing about this song is how the chorus answers the verse eg the verse is saying how they want to forget about the world and then the chorus is saying don't cos there's lots of good things in the world after all. | |

| The cold wind thing symbolizes fear and regret and doubt and everything bad. It's telling you to do what you know is right and be yourself and not everyone will be against you. Remember that you were born for a reason. Experiance happiness before it's too late. live your life. The guitar in this song is amazing, this, along with Stellar, are my favorite songs. | |

| Mike the guitar player from incubus (In the May issue of Guitar World) said "I think this song sums up our band both musically and lyrically. Its about stuggling with hope, but also feeling very positive in the process." I also love this song and think it is one of their best! | |

| This song reminds me when my grandfather passed away. Experience the warmth before you grow old. It was the perfect example of my grandfather, experience everything you possibly can before it's too late, and don't let society get in the way. Not everyone here is that fucked up and cold. There are ppl in this world who do care, but don't let them rest of them get you down. | |
