Home I Incubus Favorite Things Guitar Tab

Author/Artist: incubus
Title: favorite things
Album: S.C.I.E.N.C.E.
Transcribed by: chase blair
this sounds right to me, however there are a few parts such as the pre-chorus
that sound alittle off but with enough distortion they sound close enough
Sorry if this looks like crap but when I opened it up in Notepad it was all jumbled up.
So this is as close as I can get it to looking neat. Thank you

True Harry, but you can actually see them w/ telescopes and other instraments. No1 sane or non-pathelogical has seen "him".

"'Favorite Things' Is my personal beliefs about religion and how it oppresses the things I enjoy the most. Unfortunately, the simplest things, such as thinking for myself, creating my own reality and being whatever the hell I want to be each day of my life, are a sin. To be a good Christian basically means to give up the reigns of your life and let some unseen force do it for you." -Brandon Boyd Amen

if what makes you happy, pisses off an unseen, unproven force, oh well.. it sort of like, would you buy a car you haven't seen? NO! so why sign your happiness away from something you've never seen. people are like "its a feeling, you got to believe." i feel pot too, but i don't believe it is a god, controlling my behavior. if that is the case, that's retarded, and the only thing i feel is the church tuggin at my wallet!

Do you really believe that you will find happiness by living for yourself?

"To be a good Christian basically means to give up the reigns of your life and let some unseen force do it for you." -Brandon Boyd ..and that is the reason that I am not a great Christian. I never really feel like I can let go of myself completely.

Yeah, I could cos you use telescopes, as you put it, for looking at things far away like stars. Whereas you use MICROscopes for looking at stuff that's really small...On the topic of God...humans believed the world was flat until it was proved it wasn't...humans believed that illnesses where caused by 'humours' in the body until it was proved...so maybe the 'god' up there has yet to be seen and maybe we as a race of people are not ready to see it yet. (I say it cos it's neither man nor woman)We will only see it when we die. :p 1 2 3 Next
