| I didn't think of this as a love song really. Not a typical one anyway... When you're "in love" you're supposed to be miserable without that person, at least that's the way most love songs go. This song brings back memories of times when I've been somewhere doing something (real descriptive, I know :) ) ... I'm having the time of my life, and I think, "Man, wouldn't it be awesome if [someone] was here?" [Someone] being a close friend who would understand the moment. That close friend could be a significant other but doesn't have to be. | |

| I agree with deftone202 don't just come on a site to hinder and discourage other people's music that they enjoy. Like incubus' music is kind of binding so all of us incubus fans like to go on about how good it is so there is no need for some random person to come in ranting about how much they hate a song, if you don't like it why not just find a website for people who hate incubus and then people will encourage your choice of disliking them. | |

| I love how free the songs makes me feel. I was listening to it on a beach in Cape Cod once around 6am and I was just looking at the seagulls and the fishing boats go by and it makes you feel so calm. | |

| I has some poetry in it. (resembles a backlit canopy with holes punched in it) again he forsees something, that is about to happen. That state of mind that comes to you once in a while whe you have nothing to lose. | |

| This song brings me back to happier times living in Hawaii. I loved to go to the beach all the time and sit in the sand losing myself to the beauty of life. So many times I had wished I could share how I felt in those moments with everyone that I care about. | |

| This song reminds me of my CA trip, my dad had just past away and he loved the beach so much so when i returned home a few days ago and watched the video of my trip to "newport beach" this song poped into my head right away, cause that is how i felt, happy to be at the beach and wishing that my daddy was there with me. | |

| i have a question for mrtownzjoo, why is it that just because Incubus came out with something that a lot of people happen to like that makes them a sell out?? I think one of the goals of making music is to create something that people enjoy. Just because it's different from all their older stuff doesn't mean they purposely tried to make it more popular. It's called evolving, if every record they made sounded like fungus amongus it would get really old. it just so happened that Morning View reached more people that the older stuff so therefore, more people like it. that's just the way it. get over it. | |
