I think this song explains a bad break up. and how he feels alone which is said in the very first line. In the 1st verse it explains how when they were together, she didnt want him, "Someone takes my picture, But never looks at me in the eyes". The chorus explains how he feels about this girl. -"Leave and take me with you, I'll still be chasing you faster." I think this describes that he wants her backand wants to leave so it's just them two but she refuses. so he follows her. The last chorus shows that they have overcome their differences and are now friends again. xXx

I think this song pretty much speaks for itself mostly. I agree with what most of what has been said so far but we all of course take a song and make it our own by the way we relate to it. 'Someone takes my picture (takes my picture), But never looks me in the eyes' that says to me that the perosn you love so much knows that you are there but they never take any notice of you even though you both know you are there. The rest of the song like most have said is craving them, wanting them so much, you can't live without them, they make you happy and feel like life is worth it. They make everything great. But it's hard to understand why they hate you or don't like you in the same way when for you, they are your life, the only reason why you still wake up in the morning. I really like the end because it's a happy turn on the song. It's like everything is accepted and they become friends. For me, the end is loving so much you begin to hate them because you can't have them and you want them so much. You hate everything they are because it's made you love them so much. But then you try to make it better and accept them as just a friend. Well that's my take on it. The song means A LOT to me.

all i can say this is the most awesome song, i've never felt such a presence as when they played this (seen them live twice) the crowd singing along and you know every person in that room relates to that song, i've never had that feeling like that since that concert, its just undescribable sharing a mutual feeling of comfort and knowledge. this song can mean anything you want to, its tailored to everyone because everyone has had that one person who has been their ecstacy sending them so high just so you can fall right back down. its just funny how love can hurt you so much, as you wait, as you crave, as you are confused and the truth is twisted so many times you're not sure if its even there anymore, but you know its all worth it for that one moment of serenity, that one moment when everything is perfect between you and another person, faster the chase represents to me what love is all about, its not meant to be comfortable its meant to take you on the ride of your life...

Omg such a brilliant song I think this is a bout a guy and a girl who have broken up, but he was very much in love with her and now they dont speak(well at the begining of the song) Someone takes my picture (takes my picture), But never looks me in the eyes I interpret this as she sees him but dosent let on to him or dosent take him on if they are across the room. The chorus is him describing how he feels about the girl inside. The alternative chorus which we hear at the end is my personal favorite bit of the song. This is when they are on speaking terms again and theyre friends again. that my interpretation and this song holds a special place in my heart after whats happened in my life is so similar.

I thought I had a pretty good clue what this song was about, until I reach the last lines... I'm holding you, Holding you close to me, you are my angel I lost control, you were my enemy, But now you're my friend what the hell does this mean?

I think that this song is about a guys life in the limelight and how it conflicts with his lvoe life, hes goin through loads big changes in th spot light but he just wants his girl back, 'leave and take me with you' away from everyone watching. he just wants to be with her n coz he cant b its causing probs nshe hates it. but thats jus wat i think lol. but i really love this song.

Forget: "For me, the end is loving so much you begin to hate them because you can't have them and you want them so much. You hate everything they are because it's made you love them so much. But then you try to make it better and accept them as just a friend." That is nothing to do with the song. I was getting too wrapped up in what it means to me and slightly changing it.
