| antics grows on me like some kind of crazy fungus. I felt the same as you did at first. I guess i was expecting another Turn on the the Bright Lights. But this one is great in its own rights. The song and A Time to Be so Small are my favorites. | |

| i like this one, i'd heard some live versions of it before antics... hmm... personally, i can't get used to antics... and yeah, i know it's no turn on the bright lights... i'm just not that impressed by the sort of dancy-popster turn they've taken... but i do like narc... and i like slow hands, though the video isn't my favourite... and take you on a cruise... hmm... i guess antics is growing on me... but anyway, they're playing at the docks in toronto on the 13... and hopefully they'll still do some of their old stuff... namely stella and the specialist... | |

| i don't think it's all that sexy as that he loves her sooo much and that everything about her is just like *sigh* lol also i think it's like, she doesn't love him, at least as much as he does her. like, "Oh love, can you love me babe/ Love, is this loving babe" but yes i want paul's airspace too | |

| I'm pretty sure it's "It's just you, me and this wire" and not "fire".... which is clever and makes a lot more sense in the context of the song. Thanks to the person who posted the quote from Paul about the meaning of the song. | |

| this is what paul had to say about narc: “It’s a very typical love and relationships orientated song but with a filter of corruption and manipulation. It's not a healthy depiction of a relationship." "In the States a narc is an undercover narcotics agent, hence the manipulation - using leverage to say someone’s committed a crime. But it utilises that power in a really sleazy, sexual kind of way.” | |
