yeah, that quote from Paul sounds 100% correct. (then again, i suppose it would do, huh?)

I see this as more of a fantasy song. Like when I listen to it I get this imagery of two people always peeking over their shoulders at eachother. They just keep gazing at eachother. And with the gazes their minds stray off. Like it always seems to go back to "feast your eyes" "gazing eyes" the emphasis seems to be mostly on eyes. Not so much the sexual intentions. That's my two bits?

all that and none of you have bothered with the meaning of this song yet? heh. i love this cd, but thats probably because i just got into interpol like a month ago. Anyways, i think the meaning of this song is pretty obvious...sex but meaningful? or just cuddling? i was never too good at explaining what i think ..heh.

First, part of those lyrics are wrong its We slip into the bedroom Babe, you know me This is alright Holdings we'll make soon will Sustain us through the night Inside my bedroom baby Touch me, Oh tonight Poses will make soon Will reveal our sense of right With that in mind, I think obviously, part of it is about sex. But I also think that its a relationship between two people that are just friends, but it spontaneously moves on to something more.

She found a lonely sound She keeps on waiting for time out there Oh love, can you love me babe Love, is this loving babe Is time turning around -true, part of it is about sex but this verse has really got me. he's probably talking about how a relationship progresses. like she found a lonely sound, perhaps something he said that made her believe something very serious. she keeps on waiting for time out there as if ... perhaps she is not ready for something .. but he wants it.

i like a time to be so small, too... i think those are more like older interpol, because they'd been done before the rest of antics... and i think length of love is older, too...i just found out the interpol concert in toronto is sold out... but i got my tickets ages ago... i so can't deal! also... i've been looking for the ep with song seven on it... but i can't find it anywhere.. i heard they stopped producing it...

This is one of my favorite songs on Antics. Antics grows on me the more I listen to it. But anyway, the song...I think orangeorli is right, it sounds like it's about sex, but not random sex. Sex with someone you love. Whatever it's about, it's awesome.
