I dunno, this song kinda seems like a person who is just completely heartless... I can kind of relate to it... "And every time I tell that lie, I live without guilt" The lie could possibly be about knowing them... She doesn't feel guilty because she never wants to be asscociated with someone that bitter.

I think its about being used and abused by someone and having them do horrible things to her "she'll peel and writhe but never expire She crawls on webs of lies" "I hope you love your life and live with your guilt" "Consumed by hate and guilt She'll never retire" and so she eventually gets fed up ans seeks revenge on the peron to make them feel evrything they were makong her feel without and guilt what-so-ever. "I die up inside her to take what's mine that bitch the cinnamon spider" "I won't try and every time I tell that lie I live without guilt and I won't cry and I hope you love your life and live with your guilt" She's basically doign everything to that person that that person did to her in order to make her feel everything that she'd had to go through. Then the last verse I think she realizes that she's turned into her. A backstabbing, bitch... and she doesn't feel guilty about it. "and I am fine and I'll learn to take what's mine and live without guilt Oh yeah "

okay well I've yet to read all of the comments above so I'm sorry if someone has already covered this. I'm probably wrong but this song has always left me the impression that it was about hating someone or a group of people for stupid reasons and then realizing that you do the same thing. Having this guilty feeling that we're all the same.

I have allways think of this song as someone that have said to everyone else that she feels just fine but inside she is dying. And now all the lies dosent matter for her and she feels that she is gonna take some kind of revange by killing herself I won't try and every time I tell that lie I live without guilt (she tells the lie and don't feel any guilt) and I won't cry (when she is dead) and I hope you love your life and live with your guilt (she blames those who has bein mean to her and her revange is allmost done) and I am fine and I'll learn to take what's mine and live without guilt (she tells herself that she is fine cu's now she can take everything thats hers and don't live with Her guilt but those who was mean to her is gonna do it) Oh yeah (just something :P) well...that what i think...anyway.

This song reminds me of my mother and how I despise her, although I know that part of her is like me, and I try to deny this part of myself without facing it. ("Forlorn, despised, I am the cinnamon spider"). Also, the spider can represent a mother (or just a female) figure symbolically, and a negative one at that, so this song probobly has something to do with a friend or something whom she hates, and for good reasons, but is truly like her.
