| personally i bloody LOVE this song, because it has a big 'get up and go' feel about it. because basically its about getting over someone and turning all the negativity and pain into positivity and confidence. sorta like a 'u thought u were so much better than me, but i sucked u in and made u believe everything i said, and now even though uve got ur way and im hurting im still better than you and i still control you' | |

| I would have to agree with thornykins. I just think the song is how about people look up to Jessicka, kind of like a god, but she's a devil and she wears her black dress. Heh. | |

| Well, this is one of my favourite JoJ songs. I really love how they can do both dark songs like Strawberry Gashes, and more upbeat songs like this. I always thought that the angel references were towards a relationship of some sort. I also thought that they might have been reference to something like that, with the children looking up to her, wanting to be her. I'm glad you said what you did thornykins, it opened my eyes, to see what others thought the lyrics meant ^__^. | |

da Wanna Be |

| I had to register just because no one was getting the "real" meaning of this song. (Everyone has their own interpretation) You know about Jack Off Jill's earlier shows, yes? -- They put on a show with all the stuffed animals and the blood and Jessicka cut herself onstage and it was insane -- The shows made the kidfans go WILD and everyone wanted to be Jessicka. Jessicka=the devil. Jessicka cut herself on stage, and all the kids cut themselves to just be like Jessicka. They worshipped her like she was the devil. She could do anything and everything, and they’ll believe it because Jessicka said so. The whole song is very comical and nonsensical, really. I hope I explained it well enough? | |

| Jessicka Fodera is a goddess. I love Jack Off Jill, and each one of their songs have different meanings to me. Sure, this one isn't THAT dark and creepy. And yes, Angels Fuck and Strawberry Gashes are good songs, we know. People make it seem like those are the only amazing songs they have. I personally adore this song. It's one of those songs that sound a lot happier than they really are. It's very uppy, very rockabilly, and I fuckin' like it. Most JOJ songs you listen to and usually wind up more depressed (for me, at least). This song has a dark undertone, but you can also run around your house yelling and flailing and being hyper along with that. I think that's fuckin' awesome. | |

| Eh, these older songs may not be as "deep" as Strawberry Gashes etc etc, but I think they're just as good. | |

| Whee. This song reminds me of desperation, masochism, and deceit. It's great. Right up my alley. *coughs and pulls his sleeves over his arms* "Devil has a black dress So her arms can bleed " | |
