That's it!!! I'm not sure of the exactity of this tab, but I tried
to get it as close as I couldI love this song because Jars of Clay
always uses great melodies, and this particular song has great drums
(especially when they are saying "any other you"). Jars of Clay is
definitely one of my favorite bands.

i like the words to this song, even though I've never heard it. Actually I know the band because, believe it or not, my dentist's son is in the band! Go figure! Don't get too excited...I don't know the guy personally

i think this song is a reminder about not letting the things of this world trap us... we cant let everything bother us all the time, because we will only be crushed by the weight of it all

Dan Haseltine says this is "About fighting our deepest desire to be who we are not." (http://members.aol.com/abishort/lyrics.htm). I think the lines that say "love is the best thing for you now," "down is the best place for you," and "blind is the best thing for you" might be facetious. Those lines may just be excuses for letting your life go on the way it's been going. "It's easier that way." For me personally it might be about pretending to be just like the Christian establishment or the influential people in your own church. "Follow the crowd and love everybody now"--yes, you don't have to be a Christian to encourage people to love everyone, but I don't think this line could be about being trapped by the things of this world. Maybe it's about being trapped by Christian culture. "Their wisdom will leave you blind"--their well-meaning advice isn't helpful, but you put up with it or don't ask for it; you never question it. By the way, I am a Christian, in case anyone's wondering. 1

"But you can't erase it, and you won't escape it" it could be about homosexuality.
