| when we delay in other's requests, we miss a lot of time in between... it reminds me of the parable in the bible about the wedding guests...and how some didn't have enough oils and had to go and get more but missed the wedding... if we keep putting things off, even other's requests, we may miss everything. even another's love... | |

| I love this song. The band has a question and answer section on their website that explains why they wrote their songs and verses to go w/ their songs. Famous Last Words was written as a look at how we procrastinate in our dealings w/ God and others, and how we can miss opportunities to show love for others. Of course, songs don't have to be interpreted the same for everyone. This song speaks to me in a different way. It could be interpreted about a lost person who wasn't ready to accept Christ. "Famous Last words, 'I'm not ready yet'" A person who wasn't ready, but then missed their opportunity. A little more depressing outlook, but it speaks to us bout the urgency we should have when witnessing to others. We don't know how much time we have left, do all that we can here and now. 1 | |
