	Another great tune from the Mary Chain although the lyrics don't have any significant depth the use of the name Cindy is a direct reference to the stable of girls names which litter the Lou Reeds songbook; Candy, Stephanie, Lisa etc.

	I can't decide which version of this song I like better. The original version has a certain punch which I find appealing, however, the version found on Barbed Wire Kisses is a wonderfully haunting piece of accustic guitar work and quite appealing in itself.

	It really is hard to say which version of the song is best. The live versions are great too. And I agree, Cindy is definitely a speed metaphor. 1
