| I agree with Oceanic Gaze. It does sound rather like Wild Horses by The Rolling Stones. Good song though. It's all about moving on from hard times and looking to the future etc. | |

| this song makes me cry every single time i hear it. "it's such a waste to always look behind you, should be looking straight ahead" this song came out at a really hard time for me, i made some mistakes and lost someone very very important to me and he won't come back to me. but the last time he talked to me, he played this song. he basically said that he's sick of this, he's sick of my games, so he's not looking back, he's looking ahead and moving on. they part about getting yoruself together... you keep thinking you can fix everything, it's so easy. but it's not possible. and if you don't move on before you have any sort of relationship with the person again, it's gonna be so hard. the issues have to be resolved, you have to move past them. or you have to move on from the person completely. really... tough song. i hate that i've hurt him and i hate that a song like this came out at a time like that. | |

| It's to Nic and Chris Cesters late dad The brothers were worrying about their lives and were they were going with their music ("well i've been thinking about the future, but I'm too young to pretend'), then their dad died ("Gonna have to move on before we meet again"). In the 2nd verse they are thinking about life ("10.34: Flinders Street Station I'm lookin' down the tracks") and in the last verse they realise "Cause every once in a while You think about if your gonna get yourself together You should be happy just to be alive." The brothers always sing it together at shows. | |
