| "Cause every once in a while You think about if your gonna get yourself together You should be happy just to be alive And just because you just don't feel like comin' home Don't mean that you'll never arrive" I'm going to take a stab at this one. After losing someone close to you such as a father, mother or brother, you start to wonder if you will ever get out of the rut. Those times sometimes come with thoughts and questions to yourself of why you still feel horrible for your loss. You can see all the good things in your life, and you tell yourself that you should be happy to be alive, and to live this life to the fullest. Maybe the last part is a metaphor for returning to how things used to be. For people who care about them not to worry because they're not the same, they will feel better and preserve the memory of their loss. That is just my take on it. "Yeah I'm gonna have to move on Before we meet again Yeah it's hard If you had have only seen" Pretty self explanatory, basically a conscious thought that they're going to have to keep doing their thing until they can be together. But it's hard to move on because you start to think about all the life changing events that your loved one will never get to witness. I guess that's just my own personal adaptation, but it makes sense to me. | |

| Cool song. I think it seems to basically be talking about how you need to stop obsessing about the past and look toward the future. The train station metaphor works really well for this too. | |

| After living in Melbourne, Australia for 5 months, i love the line about flinders st. station. And it was bugging me when i first heard about, and i'm not sure if this is it, but it kinda reminds me of "only god knows why" by kid rock. just a little bit | |

| This song, to me, sounds a lot like Pink Floyd. Specifically, "Wish You Were Here," in the way that it starts with a "radio-affected," country lick. Then the bright, beautiful, and thoughtful acoustic guitar comes in. I think this song is about not looking into the future or the past, but instead, putting all your thought, time, and effort into right now and living life. I'm pretty sure it's also about not letting others make your decisions or influence them. It's mainly about living life to its fullest. Some of the lyrics are in there, I think, because they sound good. :) Hope this helps you, blondechick917. 1 | |

| Fantastic song. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to realise and accept that something has come to an end. You have to let go before you can look to the future and move on. It's hard, but I'm sure it's for the best. | |
