| It sounds like she is talking about a specific place or a specific place. She's in the middle of the ocean and 1000 miles from anywhere. Is the song about traveling and being away from home? I'm not really sure what the verses mean. | |

| no one has even attempted to analyze this difficult song and i would be interested to hear others' interpreations. I tend to disregard the specifics of the verses and focus on the chorus which is optimistic despite pointing out life's difficulties. It's a good song to listen to during tough times because the attitude is one that shows perserverance and it gives me hope that things can only get better in the future. | |
