unfortunately no one
will ever be as good
as Jimi... this is a
guitar slide in which
licks are done as he's
sliding his finger.

| "Almost"? Hendrix could take another person's song and then completely shred that motherfucker, doing more than justice to it but bringing it to a completely different level. This is one of those songs. It's pretty damn rare though. It's on Google Video and in the Martin Scorsese documentary, but that's about it as far as I can tell. | |

| I think that MOST artists that are singer-songwriters just ought to stick their own songs. (Jimi could get away with All Along the Watchtower) | |

| if it is so damned important to you solid...then why dont you just go look up bob dylan? btw, i submitted *most* of the jimi hendrix lyrics on this website 3 years ago when i was 16 years old...and i did not log in for quite a while so they deleted my old account (which was something like "jamaconbacon" or something) | |

| Jimi's voice really shines in this version of the song. Almost as good as the original. | |
