I think it means that in his 36 hour drive, he has time to think about all that is happening, and he realizes that his relationship with that person really isnt what he wanted. "What you wish for won't come true. Live with that." He realizes that his wish (for a perfect long relationship) will not come true, and his hopes for that "fall out from my hands back to the ground." The drive has allowed "The haze to clear from his eyes on a Sunday." And he is going to act on his thoughts soon enough.

this morning during my drive back from the beach after prom weekend this song came on a mix cd i made and it really made alot of sense to me. it's definately hits how you can go and be in a haze and on the drive back you reflect upon everything that had happened, how it all didn't exactely live up to your expectations, but you learned from it. it's quite a beautiful song.

As much as I love Jimmy Eat World, this song hits too many chords with me. I guess if you're too sensitive to the subject matter it can be too much. I still like the song, though.

This past Sunday I came to the final realization that my year & a half long relationship was over forever. He realized it too, on his drive back to college that we just couldn't go on any longer because we hurt eachother. We love eachother so much but we are just too different & we're going to have to "live with that".

As the haze clears everything becomes clear and we understand what we could not before. Things and people change, eventhough we don't want them to, and it is always hard to deal with the changes.

I said that all funny in the last box. I really can't say what the songs are about, but I'll just say what I think, that's what we can also do, right? Right, yeah. Okay then.
