Structure + Lyrics
Intro (2x)
Verse
i'll take your words as if you were talking to me
say what i know you'll say and say it through your teeth
now in the deep and down your heart moves
now in the deep and down, i don't know how but i know i want out
Chorus
wait for something better
will i know when it can be us?
wait for something better
maybe that doesn't mean us
wait for something better?
i shouldn't, its not enough
pull one excuse from another
Verse
and with pride keep every failure in
and with pride hold on to the sinking
now in the deep and down your heart moves
now in the deep and down, i don't know how but i know i want out
Chorus
Bridge
Chorus
pull one excuse from another
this time it means us

| The guitar is amazing on the chorus and always gets stuck in my head. I love this band, well I love their older stuff before they turned into MTV icons, but hey, all the better for them, they are still true to their music. This song is one of my favorites on Clarity. I kinda feel like what they are saying in the chorus right now. Maybe I should wait for something better, cause maybe it's not "us". | |

| I think this song is about wanting to be with some one, but waiting so long you forget the reason you're waiting. You still want to wait, but you know it's time to leave. | |

| i think this is about knowing it's time to split up with someone but not being able to tell them. a situation i have been in a number of times unfortunately... | |

| well..i know the meaning to this song, because this situation has occurred in my life before, and i will agree with 'Whitefang 2003' when he says that it's about waiting so long, you forget what your waiting for. and it is time to move on. I also think it's pointing out to sumone that they are supposed to be together. | |

| everything about the "awesomeness" of this song is so true. as for the clarity VS BA issue, i think its ridiculous to compare the two. j.e.w. is an amazing band that continues to grow, adapt, and broaden their horizons. i could never choose either album as the better, because they're just so different, but both so damn amazing. | |

| I lovee this song. The guitars during "Now in the deep and down" is so good. Although I still highly rate Bleed American, I agree with polkacore, that Clarity is better. | |
