| Holden Caulfield and Jane Gallagher. The end. It is a beautiful song and it reminds me of them - specifically Holden - to no end. | |

| Best song on the new album. The lyrics are amazing. I could really relate to the whole waiting on a relationship situation that ended up not working. Putting a lot of yourself into something and getting killed is the pits. | |

| I love this song, i think that you could also interpret it about someone who has a crush and never knowing what quite to say to them and feeling as if they don't feel the same way so he wants to let them go but you just can't because he loves them and its "killing" his respect for himself or just losing who he is in his unrequited love. | |

| I totally love this song, this also reminds me of my last serious relationship. No matter how much you try, you can't get over a particular person, you just can't stop loving them, and you really want to but you can't, and you feel like you're putting a burden on the other person. "You kill me, you build me up but just to watch me break I know what I should do, but I just can't walk away" This to me is like giving false hopes. Like somebody leading you on, make you think there's still a chance and then they do something and totally mess up again, and they can see what they're doing but they don't seem to care. But still you can't help having feelings for them. A situation lots of people have been in I'm sure, brilliant song one of my favourites off 'Futures' | |

| Awesome song, I heard the Pamona show version, and the band says the live version is relatively different than the version that'll be on the new cd (album called 'Futures', by the way). It's coming out in October!! :) | |

| Anyone have any idea when the new album comes out, or what it's called? And what's this song like musically -- do they play it live much? | |

| Definitely my favorite song off the entire album. I fell in love with it from the beginning. I honestly didn't think JEW would be capable of creating something even better than their other CD's, but they have managed to do it with "Futures." If you havent listened to this song or their new CD yet I strongly recommend you do. It's simply amazing... | |

| "Could it be that everything goes round by chance? I only want what I was always meant to be You kill me, you always know the perfect thing to say I know what I should do, but I just can't walk away" ---probably what every guy i'd ever been interested in is thinking about me. The key phrase in this whole entire song is "YOU KILL ME", because although it connotates a negative feeling, it really isn't, because he wants to be with that person so bad that the 'killing' part is something he will put up with, in order to keep his feelings for her alive. This song is the never-ending cycle of loving but not wanting to love that person because you know they're not good for you. But, they are just so appealing to you that you don't want to lose hope that someday they'll quit playing stupid games with you and they'll be a 'happily every after' somewhere in there. | |

| oh, and this is the best song on the album, easily. I love the way there is an easily identifiable chorus, bridge, and verse, even though the lyrics never repeat. | |
