| I love this song more every time I hear it. I think his love for the object of the song is tender and selfless...perhaps unrequited...the word "grace" could refer to the grace of God moving through her. | |

| I think that the song is about a guy who loves someone, but she wont love him back. And he tries so hard to impress her and does everything he can to win her over, but she doesn't love him. He just wants to hear that she does "oh lie to me, oh love me" So I see what xpankfrisst is saying. | |
