G
Oh, I can't forget that.
Em G
Sometimes I wish I could lose you again.
Verse Three:
D
You're winning me over with everything you say.
A
You rip my heart right out.
You rip my heart right out.
D
When I let you closer, I only want you closer.
A
You rip my heart right out.
You rip my heart right out.
Chorus:
G A D B
If you still care at all, don't go, tell me now.
G A D B
If you love me at all, please don't, tell me now.
G A D B
If you still care at all, don't go, tell me now.
G A D B
If you love me at all, don't call.
(repeat as desired... end on D or fade out if you can...)
________________________________
Declare Chords:
Drop D...
DADGBe
Em: 222xxx
D: XX023X for verse and 000XXX for chorus and bridge
A: X02220 for verse and 777XXX or X022XX for chorus
G: 555XXX or (for a fuller sound) 55003X
B: 999XXX or X244XX
(note, this key actually calls for a Bm, but if you play a full
B-minor chord it sounds pretty bad in this song)
Any suggestions or corrections can be emailed to me. Hey kiddos, if you
like the tab, drop me a line also, it'd be nice to know that people are
actually using them....

| I think this is the best song they do, mainly because it's very catchy. Ofcourse, everything they do is. I really didn't care for it all that much, when I first heard it, but through out listening to the song more and living life..It be came more relavent to what I was dealing with myself, ...and became one of my favorite songs of all time. I really like the part in the third chorus when you can her the Organ playing in the background...it really gives a complete fullness to the sound.. 1 2 Next | |

| I, too, didn\'t think much of this song until I really listened to it. I agree with ingramcolt\'s interpretation. I think the chorus lyric \"If you still care at all, don\'t go, tell me now\" is actually \"If you still care at all, don\'t go tell me now\". It\'s just removing one comma, but the second interpretation has the opposite meaning of the first. He *doesn\'t* want to know anymore. It\'s too late. | |

| ya know. i HATED this song when i first got bleed american. i had to skip it...i dunno. i just didn't like the way it sounded. it just went against everything i loved about clarity. but then, i listened to the lyrics and i found that it was the main thing that i love about clarity. the whole universal experience of the ups and downs of love, etc. god, it kills me now. it totally reminds me of my "ex" (we were never in an official relationship, so i guess it doesn't count)...after i completely broke it off with him, he would know (and he still knows) JUST when to call me and tell me that he wants me for real. he calls when my life is just starting to get stressful (before a midterm/final. etc) and it turns my life upside down. i've actually told him never to call me again if he really cares...he keeps calling. anyway. | |

| I love this song. I have someone who I really care about and I think my life would go so much easier if I never heard from him again. If he cares about me at all, then I hope he never tries to get in touch with me. | |

| "you rip my heart right out" that's like me when (if) I ever fell in love and fell out love, both were just so intense I felt like my heart was being ripped out. Ripped out when I fall in love because, I don't know....like you feel that connection and if it's not a connection, there's just some kind of chemisty even if it's one sided, or maybe lust, something that causes you to suffer because it catches your eye or attention. I think of that and trying to forget them because you know that maybe it just won't work out and it's best that they try to stay away and not even think of them, be aware of that certain someone that caused so much racket in either a good OR bad way in your relationship. I have all my thoughts down, most of it, but I don't think it makes sense. I just think it's a love song to me....and, I can relate in my own personal 'psychotic' way when it comes to if not love, whatever caused me to come across this feeilng and situation when it comes to someone. | |

| i think that the guy and the girl argue a lot (especially when she's on :-)) and that they always fight at his house, she storms off to her house and later one of them will apologise. but now he's had enough. he's now saying "if you love me at all don't go - tell me now" and she still leaves, so he says "if you love me at all - don't call" because he can't handle all of the makeup breakup stuff anymore. on her leaving he starts trying to get over it by throwing out her stuff, but he knows that she'll just 'win him over with everything she says' when she phones from her house, and he'll be fooled into staying with her. did any of that make sense? well i hope so...anyways, that's what i think... | |

| for the longest time, this song didn't make any sense to me at all. "If you love me at all, don't call" all the lyrics, the whole song was just confusing as all hell. then last night i was listening to the cd as i was falling asleep...and suddenly, i got it. complete sense. i was thrilled. it reminds me of this guy that i *sort* of dated (wanted to, but didn't techncially) that just totally screwed me over, and at first didn't seem to realize that i hated him... "Sometimes I wish I could lose you again" | |

| so they are the one that will?? nice one werechick, you just managed to totally confuse me with your crazy double negatives! i have a tear-jerking, violins-in-the-background, sick-inducing story to tell as well, but its pretty much the same as everyone elses, what matters is that this song manages to put feelings that apparently we have (almost) all shared into words and music and allow us to feel just that little better for it. Jimmy Eat World have an amazing power to do this, and thats why we love them. | |

| i kinda disagree with more of the opinions posted. I had this cd for 8 months before i listened to it (birthday gift from friend, wasnt interested in the band), which was right around the time my girlfriend and i broke up. That makes me think that this song isnt about fights or anything, but the guy loves her so much that he cant bear to be hurt again by her if they start things up again and they break up. So those are my thoughts, but everyone's interpretations are based on experiences so feel free to disagree. | |

| "Just keep my mind off of thinking how I had you once No, I can't forget that Sometimes I wish I could lose you again" those lines pertain to a realtionship i have with an ex boyfriend. i still care about him so much and every time i see him i start to like him again. and even tho he's broken my heart before i want to chase him -- i almost want him to break my heart again. it's bizarre. | |

| hey y'all, just thought i'd post these complete lyrics b/c it's sortof hard to follow the broken up lyrics in the other version, and Your House is the kindof song where you need to have readable lyrics that flow....and yes, I find this song reeeeeally emo. | |
