| This is so about deciding if they should break up. She cant decide if this is happiness or if she can find it somewhere else. He is trying to convince her that happiness is never going to be somewhere else. | |

| The best JEW song. What do you think it's about? I believe that he's talking to a girlfriend who's dying of something. Outstanding song. | |

| "can you still feel the butterflies?" i think that line makes me think it's about a relationship that is going cold, but he really doesn't want it to end. i like EmbracingMediocrity's thing about "the first star i see, may not be a star". i agree there, that maybe it's about when you think you're in love, but you're not really. this song is one of those songs you can turn of the lights and just listen to quietly. it's so good. one of my favourite jimmy eat world songs. | |

| "If I don't let myself be happy now then when, if not now when?" This line is one i'm using in a really imporant decision I have to make. IT's beautiful... I LOVE this song.. the first Jimmy one i ever heard. My older sis played it for me and whenever she played CD's i asked her to play the butterfly one... it's so beautiful. Clarity's an amasing CD. Bleed American... eh. | |

| This is my favorite song ever. EVER. It's absolutely beautiful and there are several interpretations which would make sense, but I find I relate to it the most is just thinking of it as a guy who is really worried about the girl he loves because he isn't sure if she still loves him, and he really wants to make sure that while they're together they are totally in love and that it is real and meaningful before it fades away... 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Next | |

| I agree with whycantyoulearn, about the weird situations making you realize what the song is really about. And I agree with crossmyemostars! Geez! I agree with everyone! You all have such good views and can say it way better than I can! | |

| This song is so great, if you hear it live the way he sings it is really powerful/amazing/whatever. You just have to sing along with Can you still feel the butterflies/Can you still hear the last goodbye | |

| This is the song I've been looking for. I recently broke up w/a guy I thought I was in love with....and I am a big freak about lyrics... so I always try to find a specific song that I can write about in my diary and overanylize for every situation I am in. And this is the one, for the guy I thought I was in love with. | |

| The best JEW song on the best JEW album. What a masterpiece. You're left in love and you know that she's the right one anyway. And you can do everything you like except to be next to her. "...wherever you are, angel for me..." | |
