	joel played this song yesterday in pei... he said that he wrote a new verse last week and played it for us, i dont quite remember the lyrics though. who knows if he will even keep it. great song though! i always laugh at the verse about kelowna!

	Love This Town is Joel's Love Letter to Halifax (Piggy reference). A lot of this is really Halifax imagery like the Marquee, a venue, which has shut down for good and now can be rented once in awhile. The holding a grudge thing is basically a reference to Sloan and the backlash they recieved for moving on to Toronto. The Davey and me part refers to Dave Marsh, Joel's drummer. During the tour they were both really sick.

	Miniture tim is a real person, who once came up on stage during a show. Joel said so during the concert at alderny landing. This is a sweeet song. 1

	Personally, I think this song is more about Dartmouth, (a city directly across the harbour, from halifax.). you can leave the Marquee Club and cross the MacDonald Bridge and be in Dartmouth.(the bridge line in the song.) He is from Dartmouth, so I could see the town he sings about is Dartmouth.

	It's all the same. The lyrics are self explanatory, he likes Halifax and teh greater Halifax area.

	could miniature tim be a tim hortons reference...cause if so that'd be awesome....as well the first bit sounds like some good east coast fun times and hospitality....he must have had a bad experience in kelowna eh!!!

	dartmouth/halifax is an awesome place. im so proud that joel is from there. this song shows the pride he has for our city

	I first heard this song while I was away from home in NS in Ottawa and it was played as an encore at JP's show. 2/3 of the audience were from the maritimes and there was this incredible hush over the whole audience as we all were mesmorized by Joel and his guitar on starage singing this one solo. It was one of the most memorable concert moments ever.
