Music & Lyrics by John Butler
From the album "Sunrise Over Sea" By The John Butler Trio
Tabbed by - Hugh Klein - hugh@ausi.com
Tuning - CGCGCE
This tab will be missing subtleties but they can be filled
in by listening to the song, which is different everytime
it's played anyway. My interpretation has come from listening
to the album version and having seen him play it live once.
Corrections/suggestions are welcome.

he just bars the 5th fret and plucks a few strings quietly.

| I think it is talking about him talking to the people he doesn't agree with, basically just trying to create a bridge with the person, call a truce to stop arguing. This is a great song, and wonderful soloing in the last six or so minutes of it. | |

| such a strong song. however the music seems to overpower the lyrical power of it in many ways. like the guy before me said, the solo-ing is unbelievable. wow | |
