| when i bought this CD i was listening to it a lot and i was at my beloved camp...yeah i kno it gay but i love it. anyway this song really reminds me of the summer nights i had at camp(being a cousulor) "And it was just another night With a sunset and a moonrise Not so far behind to give us just enough light To lay down underneath the stars Listen to all translations Of the stories across the sky We drew our own constellations" we used to star gaze all the time.... | |

| This song is just so beautiful. I half-way agree with the big-hug comment. it is. But with me, it just calms me. It's the kinda song that will not make you all happy. But it will pick up up. This song is like having somebody telling you "hey, everything is gonna be okay" | |

| this song is really sweet. I really love the chorus And it was just another night With a sunset and a moonrise Not too far behind to give us just enough light To lay down underneath the stars We listened to Papa’s translations Of the stories across the sky We drew our own constellations | |

| The stars up in the sky are one of the most important things to the culture of Hawai'i. If you're Hawaiian, your family is up there in the stars. Hawaiian canoe navigators use stars and the winds to travel across the Pacific Ocean, without any modern instruments. If you ever get a chance to come to Hawai'i, you will see that out in the country, the sky is amazing and you will see the most beautiful stars out there. The Kamani tree is a tree that could grow along the shore, and what better place to tell stories of ancient times using the constellations than a Kamani tree. This song is amazing. | |

| I think it's just about looking at the stars, and the bigness of the sky, and being so small compared to the the heavens. But they contributed to the bigness, and made their own constellations" becoming part of the sky and world, and just added their drop of memories to the stars. The sound of this song give me a terrible feeling however, that somehting tragic was about to happen or had just happened...I can't really expain the feeling though. They're just part of the big picture. | |

| The way I take this song is...so many nights my dad and mom will tell me stories and past experiences in their lives...and I will take those stories and experiences and "draw my own constellations" on life. I will interpret them and put them to use in my own ways. | |
