| I think this is just stating things that have been, and will always, be true. i.e. Stay alive until you die & These nights of booze catch up with you's. | |

| I think it's about the common know of the fact that death comes upon us all. I think the author goes on to write of examples of people that consistently ignore the fact that death is upon them, a fact that if they realized, would be potent in rendering their efforts useless. For example, if death is inevitable and often random (as a fact of life) is it not laughable to: Worry about the nutrition thing Worry about the boos catching up I think he writes from both sides. That's my word. | |

| Meaningless??? Are you having a laugh? Its about the fact that we will die! You can choose how to live your life and you can be healthy but in the end we will all die: "You cannot cheat the reaper's reap And that is the end of that" | |

| i think the song is just about how pointless life is.. That is the end of that and fergi, kaiser chiefs formed in 97, and were called Parva back then. Ive got Parva's cd (called "22")too, and parva is really different from kaiser chiefs. time honoured tradition is not a parva song. | |

| It's about food, durrh. Seriously... if you read it, listen to it, it all leads back to lunch. "to get enough nutrition" And also the sfx at the beginning, with the clanging of pots. It's about if you don't eat you'll die. And the rules are... you must eat! I think I can relate everything to lunchtime though. | |
